El Faro flavoured Columbus Day in New Delhi

Over 1000 people enjoyed the snack-dinner served by our catering service last October 12th in the Embassy of Spain in India. Considering the importance of such a day, it was a honour for us to take part in this event in which, under the slogan “Andalucía in India, a common ground for two cultures”, many associations and institutions were called together to promote tourist and business relationships between both communities. Mr. Gaspar Zarrías, Vice-President of the regional government of Andalusia, was among the most outstanding people in this meeting. In this important context, our menu included the following:

    • Salmorejo (thick cold tomato soup) served with tuna in olive oil
    • Ajoblanco (cold almonds and garlic soup) with apple and grapes
    • Traditional shrimps fritters
    • Alboronía (Aubergine stew Al Andalus style- fit for vegetarians)
    • Poultry brochette Al-Andalus style
    • Diced marinated fish
