Celebration after appointment of AEDE’s new president
November 23th
Last November 21st, 2007, within the 23rd Annual Conference of AEDE (Spanish Newspaper Publishers Association), El Faro Catering had the pleasure to offer its gastronomic proposal in the banquet dinner served just after this organization announced its new President’s name: Mrs. Pilar de Yarza de Mompeón. Furthermore, this conference has been an important nationwide forum for discussing the new role journalism should play to face up to digital progress and new multimedia formats.
That time round, the chosen menu appetizers put special emphasis on inland flavours: jamón de Jabugo (Jabugo cured ham), anchovies on toasted bread, Manchego aged cheese, skewered tenderloin and potatoes stuffed with mushrooms, whereas the main course was sea inspired:”Red snapper fillets over creamy potatoes and mushrooms” which was served after a Cadiz Bay prawns and Sanlúcar King prawns-tasting. The environment was also carefully selected looking for a traditional atmosphere at Bodegas Mora (Spanish wine cellars) in Puerto de Santa María (Cádiz). |
