Catering El Faro takes Andalusian flavor to Peralada Castle two years in a row

February 20th

Luis Núñez and his team will repeat last year experience to mark the 2nd Cadiz Bay Gastronomy workshop.
After the success of the first meeting, Peralada Castle managers has committed this event once more to the emphasis that Javier Córdoba puts on sea products, by organizing a new dinner which will be served next February 22nd. On this occasion, our gastronomy, strongly represented by seafood, will be even more pleasant thanks to the entertainment that José Guerrero Roldán”Yuyu”’s carnival group, “Los monstrous de pueblo”, and Cadiz comedian Tony Rodríguez will provide. The menu will be made up by the following dishes:

Smoked sturgeon loin over tender broad beans and Wonton
Traditional grass shrimps fritters
Fried ‘ortiguillas’ anemone
King prawns wrapped in brick pastry and seasones with a homemade sauce

An individual dish formed by:
Premium langoustines
Cádiz bay boiled white prawns

Squilla cream soup with trout roe and flavoured with Manzanilla sherry
Boneless red snapper loin ‘a la Roteña’ (baked with vegetable)

Rice pudding mousse, Capuchina cake with cheese ice-cream, vanilla sauce and sesame crunchy delicacy
